White sausage baked with rosemary

I’m not a person fasting for religious reasons. My only Lent is  for a week before any competition I take part in ;) Today I had particular desire for white sausage but in a slightly different version than usual. White sausage, cooked in water, exceptionally didn’t fit me (or I just had some bad culinary experience) and I can’t eat a traditional sour rye soup (not paleo!). I was left with grilling or roasting. I decided to combine these two ways, and here’s my recipe!  Hot sausage with marjoram inside, roasted in rosemary, served with addition of sweet pomegranate is a veritable heaven in my mouth.

Preparation

Gently pinch the sausages in several places, rub them with rosemary and fry in a hot pan (preferably grill) on each side.

In the meantime preheat oven to 180°C.

Put the sausages in casserole dish, add the chopped red onion, garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs. Add salt, pour the water and put the dish in the oven for about 20 minutes. Bake with the upper grill mode.

Before serving, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds and pour the sauce from the baking.
